Home Schooling

I want to say I respect EVERY parents choice. You have to do what is best for a child and your family. With that being said.... I know a lot of Moms have more kids than I do. That they work a "full" time job. That their job (s) are hard. THey have their job, car pool, cleaning. cooking....Again choices.... I have been very lucky to be able to stay home with Claire for the past 4 years. Do you realize that is 4 years of no adult contact? Mike has supported us and I never felt pressured into getting a job. Before Claire I had a full time career! I worked 5 days a week! I loved my job! But I, however, didn't feel like my paycheck should go to someone else to raise my child. I wanted to see all her mildstones. If you think that you saw them first, if you work, you are wrong. The provider did and played dumb. I stayed home for the first 4 years of her life. I gave up, my career, social life and pay check. Once I knew she was old enough, and I was ready, I got a job, loving on babies, twice a week. Yeah, twice a week.It might not be a lot to others but it is a lot for me and this household. The other 3 days a week, I home school my child. It is up to me to make sure she learns her letters and lessons. It is up to me, she follows rules and learns her lessons and is a good student. Have you every realized how difficult it is for the teachers to have your kids 5 days a week? God Bless them! You trust them, right? Yeah. Well, I am responsible for 3 of those days. Once again choices!!! I think some think I have it Easy. I do NOT. I thrive along with my child at home. I DO NOT have the social interaction with other adults. I have my husband. I work 2 days a week to love on babies and to help with Claire's tuition. I chose to do this because I love kids. I love their time. I cherish them. Someone has to, right? So on my off days I school my child, clean house, cook, do laundry, and engage my child. My life is NOT EASY! Once again, judge your life. Don't base it on mine or anyone else's. It is all about choices we make for our own families through Jesus Christ. But to say your life is harder than mine....God Bless and Good Luck!
